Division Manager, Construction
Chris Coe oversees Moore’s landscape installation and renovation projects and is responsible for sales, estimating, purchasing and subcontract administration. Chris is the go-to contact for coordinating landscape development projects for municipalities, owners, developers, general contractors, and architects. Chris manages employee training to ensure that Moore brings an experienced, dependable and responsive team to every project.
Chris joined Moore Landscapes in 1983 and after one year with the plant health care division, he joined the construction team as an installation crew member. He was promoted to Foreman after one year, and then to Supervisor of four crews. Over the years, Chris added estimating, project management, and client relationship management responsibilities. In 2014, Chris was promoted to Vice President of Construction and added business development responsibilities.
Chris’ expertise includes green roof construction, plant material selection and installation, large tree installation, hardscapes, erosion control, irrigation, and turf installation. Technical competencies include construction specifications, contract administration, budgeting and estimating, jobsite safety, and planning the staging, logistics and workflow for construction of complex urban landscapes.
Chris received a B.S. in Landscape Management from Purdue University where he was honored as a Distinguished Student. He is OSHA 30-hour certified and is a Live Roof Certified Installer.
