GNMAA, Greater North Michigan Avenue Association, serves as the principal business development and community advocacy organization for Michigan Avenue and the surrounding area, working with the City to advance the region's historic signature as a world-class place to visit, work, and live. North Michigan Avenue is among Chicago's most historic neighborhoods and the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association has been a part of its development since the beginning.

GNAMAA is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the region's architecture and streetscape, marketing The Magnificent Mile as a world class shopping and travel destination, and networking their nearly 750 member companies to encourage business partnerships.  GNMAA works diligently to keep members informed of local business issues that affect this business district and influence the changes planned for Michigan Avenue and the surrounding area.

By working with civic leaders, GNMAA ensures these changes will serve the business community at large. Annually, more that 1 million consumers enjoy events and publications produced by GNMAA. These popular consumer events and publications promote GNMAA member businesses to these audiences. GNMAA hosts more than 25 member events throughout the year that offer businesses the opportunity to foster beneficial relationships with area businesses and civic leaders.

Our involvement with the GNMAA…

Moore has been a member of the GNMAA since 2003, and we’ve held the honor of becoming the official landscaper of the GNMAA from 2003 – 2008, including sponsoring Tulip Days on the Magnificent Miles since 2003.

Moore Landscapes was awarded the “Corporate Member of the Year in 2006”.  In addition, Moore Landscapes was involved in the creation of the Maggie Daley Tulip – which we planted the first exclusive small batch at two locations on The Magnificent Mile. Moore Landscapes finds tremendous value as members of the GNMAA and we look forward to continuing to serve and participate in multiple ways.
