- Maintain and update regularly all contact information for all prospects in the company's contact data management system.
- Identify target customers, target areas and build on referral business to "Grow our Portfolio".
- Works with Account Executives and VP'S to ensure that new business is installed to specifications.
- Attendance/participation/speaking to organizations such as BOMA, IFMA, Design Community, Chamber of Commerce, Networking Groups – Minimum one (1) per month.
- Active member of leads group to ensure we capture the essence of Networking – Minimum one (1) per month
- Assist in developing and implementation of Sales strategies and Marketing initiatives to successfully grow our business profitably.
- Ensures all contracts are being executed correctly and builds on referral business.
Qualifications Requirements:
Education:
2 or 4 year General degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years Outside Sales experience in horticulture or related industry.
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in horticultural or related industry.
Skills:
- Use outside sales skills to develop and cultivate relationships, which will bring new business to our company.
- Walk through properties to ensure service quality and opportunities for revenue
- Assist in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the services of maintenance and installation
- Create/Review and submit all Horticulture, Arborists and daily reports necessary to fulfill contract requirements.
- Perform where necessary, snow removal and ice control during the snow season
- Oversee, monitor, and provide guidance in the training provided by Service Leaders or Foreman for laborers
- Oversee spring start-up and fall shut-down
- Sells work orders at profitable levels
Qualifications Requirements:
Education:
2 or 4 year Landscapes related degree, 2 or 4 year general degree with coursework in the landscape field or certification by a landscapes association; or equivalent industry experience, with or without a degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in horticultural or related industry.
Skills:
- Ability to use a variety of landscape equipment, computer programs, including Excel, Word, Estimating, and Job Cost systems –
- Good knowledge of plant material, diseases, insect, chemical, spray, irrigation, math and business formulas, including gross margin
Service Manager

Manage on-site, all aspects of installation and maintenance including: assisting Account Executive in coordinating and managing subcontractors, traffic control, quality control, and client liason

Fill out reports, as specifications require

Oversee horticultural related concerns on maintenance and construction projects including:
Irrigation System Maintenance

Assist in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the services of maintenance and installation

Performs snow removal and ice control during the snow season
Qualifications Requirements:
Education: 2 or 4 year Landscapes related degree, 2 or 4 year general degree with coursework in the landscape field or certification by a landscapes association; or equivalent industry experience, with or without a degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in horticultural or related industry.
Proficient in Spanish is a plus.

Small Engine Mechanic
We are currently looking for a Small Engine Mechanic who would be working under the direction and training of a senior small engine mechanic. We have over 400 pieces of small engine equipment.

Diagnose and repair all aspects of two-cycle and four-cycle equipment.

Repair and mount small engine tires.

Understand and be prepared to fully implement preventative maintenance (PM) program.

Operate all small engine equipment

Document all repairs and PM work executed

Must possess a valid class D license at a minimum

Must have roll away tool box with hand and air tools

Blade sharpening is a top priority (approximately 15% of the time will be spent on this task during our spring/summer season)
