Snow Operations Manager
Willy served our country as an Officer in the U. S. Marine Corps, retiring after nearly 30 years of active duty. He then worked in store management with both The Home Depot and the Lowes Corporation. His undergraduate work was done at California State University – Chico in Industrial Engineering, and his graduate work at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in Military History. Willy joined the firm at the beginning of the 2010 Snow Season as our Snow Operations Assistant Manager.
Willy’s many responsibilities include: communication with our contracted professional weather forecasters about expected snow and ice events; management of our fleet of snow fighting equipment; the recruitment, training, safety, and operational oversight of our personnel and subcontractors during the preparation for, the on-site operations in response to, and the recovery from winter weather events throughout the season. He also coordinates for these events with key client personnel, site and property management representatives, our account executives, and vendors.
